Huntsville is a city where visitors can easily find their way around. There are many options to travel in and out the city. The public transportation service is run by the Department of Parking and Public Transit. There are 11 fixed routes through the city, mainly around major shopping areas and downtown Huntsville.

Huntsville International Airport is also known as Carl T. Jones Field and it is located 9 miles southwest of Huntsville. The airport is serving Huntsville, offering non-stop flights to other airports across Eastern U.S.

Huntsville is an amazing city, easy to get around in, but it's best to avoid rush hour, from 4 pm to 5 30 pm, to avoid getting stuck in traffic, especially if you're driving.

Big Spring Park is a great starting point for cyclists, visiting or staying in the hotels downtown Huntsville.

Even though public transportation is not very popular among locals, there are 13 different bus routes and waiting between buses can get from 15 minutes to one hour of your time. The price of a bus ticket varies as followed: $1 for a one way ticket, $0.50 for seniors, students and children under 6 years old, $2 for an all day pass Tourist Loop and Downtown Week-end Trolley is free.
